I am a former High School English and Journalism teacher of ten years.  For this reason, I love the writing and editing part of the admissions process.  As an avid reader and writer myself for my whole life, I try to bring enthusiasm and enjoyment to what can be stressful and tedious to my students.  Students continually tell me that they learn so much about writing from our work together.  I work with students of all levels to increase their confidence as writers and to guide them to produce work of which they are always very proud.  I love being a teacher and counselor.

I like to operate ahead of schedule, with clearly established deadlines structured to each family?s needs.  I ask parents to be involved in the process in clearly defined ways, as much as they are able.  During what can be a stressful time, I find that careful scheduling and regular checkpoints give my clients peace of mind.

As a confessed academic, I thoroughly enjoy the business of finding the best college for each student.  To that end, I regularly visit college campuses myself, and have seen over 200 campuses to date.
